弗雷德里希·根茨（Friedrich Gentz, 1764—1832）

根茨的母系出自流亡普鲁士的法兰西胡格诺派家庭，是普鲁士大臣弗雷德里希·安茨隆（Friedrich Ancillon）的亲戚。根茨辅佐促成了1815年维也纳会议的奥地利外交达成梅特涅亲王（Prince Metternich），是欧洲保守主义的建筑师和外交家，也是美法革命的最早观察者之一，他撰写的论美法革命的长文发表在《柏林历史杂志》（1800年4月和5月）上。根茨本人也是《历史杂志》创始人、编者和杂志卓越理念的唯一贡献者。
